One Discipline.
Every Component.

Anyone can promise precision. SEW shows the workflow that produces it — six phases, one inspection culture, and a record behind every component. Evidence over adjectives.

The six-phase workflow

Six Phases. One Discipline.
No Shortcuts.

Each phase consumes the previous phase's output and produces evidence for the next — the same sequence for a bronze bushing or a complete special purpose machine.

01

Understand

The requirement arrives as a failed component, a drawing, a photograph or a sample. We study the application context — the machine, the duty, the reason it failed.

02

Engineer

Analysis defines the engineering approach. Material is identified, design intent is reconstructed, and CAD models with manufacturing drawings are created.

IN · MEASUREMENTSOUT · CAD + DWGOUT · MATERIAL SPEC
03

Manufacture

Precision machining and fabrication to the engineering data — with treatment where the application demands it.

IN · CAD + DWGOUT · MACHINED COMPONENT
04

Validate

Dimensional inspection against the drawing, quality verification and documentation. The drawing is the contract — the component must prove it.

IN · COMPONENT + DWGOUT · INSPECTION RECORD
05

Deliver

The validated component is delivered to your production floor, together with its documentation.

IN · VALIDATED COMPONENTOUT · DELIVERY + QUALITY DOCS
06

Repeat

CAD, drawings and inspection data are retained. Repeat orders are manufactured to the same validated specification — no re-engineering, no drift.

The digital thread

From Physical Part to
Digital Engineering Asset.

Every component that passes through the workflow leaves behind CAD, drawings and inspection data — a retained record that turns a one-time rescue into repeatable supply.

DT-01 · THE SEW DIGITAL THREAD — PART → RECORD → REPEAT SUPPLY

One replacement part solves today. A retained engineering record protects every tomorrow the machine still has to run.

Phase 04 in depth

Validation Is a Deliverable,
Not a Promise.

Before a component leaves SEW, it is measured against the drawing that defined it — and the evidence travels with the part.

Dimensional Inspection

Every component is measured against its engineering drawing. The drawing is the contract.

Material & Treatment

Where the application requires it, material grade and treatment are verified — not assumed.

Functional Checks

Where applicable, fit and function are checked against the application context.

Quality Documentation

Inspection records supplied with the component — and retained in the digital record.

Validation is performed against the engineering drawing and the agreed requirement. Components are engineered with awareness of applicable industry codes (ASME · API · IBR) relevant to the application.

How we report engineering work

Every Project Documented
in the Same Six Frames.

Completed work is reported back to customers in the same six-frame structure every time — so you can compare projects, audit the engineering, and re-order with confidence.

F-01

The Problem

What failed or went unavailable, on which machine — and what it was costing the operation.

F-02

Engineering Challenge

Why the part was difficult: geometry, tolerances, material behaviour or missing OEM data.

F-03

SEW Approach

The engineering route chosen — analysis, reverse engineering, material selection, manufacture.

F-04

Validation

What was inspected, verified and documented — and against which drawing.

F-05

Result

The component delivered — and what changed on the production floor.

F-06

Digital Continuity

The data retained, so the next order starts from a validated record — not from zero.
